Brad Mitzelfelt tours Barstow Murals
San Bernardino County First District Supervisor, Brad Mitzelfelt, joined the Barstow Main St Murals tour with area representative Bob Smith.  The group toured the growing gallery of murals along Barstow's Main St which total 18 to date, with a further three murals scheduled for the year ahead.  The district supervisor also spent time chatting with kids from the Main St Murals after school youth program led by Jane Laraman-Brockhurst and supported by the Desert Discovery Center Partnership. This years program is entitled “Discovering the Mojave Desert” and will take the kids on a 5 month journey exploring science, history, and creative art as well as participating in exciting field trips across the region.
